Announcing a brand new podcast series ‘Rabies Today’ by United Against Rabies and supported by Dogs Trust Worldwide.


Hosted by Professor Katie Hampson of the University of Glasgow. The podcast looks at contemporary issues surrounding a very old disease.


Rabies Today - Episode 1 - The Treatment Gap

Episode 1 'The Treatment Gap' covers the global inequality in access to emergency rabies medicines – the life-saving vaccines that stop the lethal rabies virus from reaching the central nervous system.


Join host Professor Katie Hampson as she explores the potential to improve access to these essential medicines with Dr Bernadette Abela from WHO, Dr Madi Savadogo, Director of

Animal Health in Burkina Faso and Dr Hervé Bourhy of Institut Pasteur in Paris.
