Executive Director
Sarah is an economist, strategist, and operational policy maker. She is passionate about tackling injustice and poverty through creating and delivering effective campaign and advocacy strategies. Sarah has led many international policy negotiations including delivering three replenishment campaigns for the Global Partnership for Education, the Commonwealth Malaria Summit in London, leading the G8 Nutrition for Growth Summit and the development negotiations for the G20 London Summit. She has generated strategies for many campaigns on One Health, rabies elimination, Sanitation and Water for All, Every Woman, Every Child, Gavi, G8 and peace negotiations. Her portfolio includes work on civil society mobilisation (Project Everyone and the World’s Largest Lesson); private sector engagement, including innovative finance solutions for health, education, water and sanitation. She has worked for DFID, Cabinet Office, World Bank, and a host of UN agencies, foundations, CSOs and private sector organisations. Sarah is a member of the Fellowship Council (Advisory Board) for the Royal Society of Arts, a Governor for The Tiffin Girls' School, and UK Council member for United Against Inhumanity. She has lived and worked in over 70 countries and remains ever curious to learn about new peoples and places.

KATY CRONIN
Senior Communications Associate
Katy works at the forefront of international strategic communications and has sound knowledge of international relations, global development, human rights and conflict issues. She has extensive experience working with high profile individuals from the non-profit, public and private sectors and has held communications leadership roles with The Elders, the ONE campaign and International Crisis Group. She has advised a range of clients across the international development sector including Malala Fund, the Global Partnership for Education, Water Unite and Global Witness. An astute strategist and polished writer, Katy helps NGOs, international institutions and individuals to develop effective organizational messages, narratives and communications strategies. Based in the UK with a global outlook, she has lived and worked in many countries and has implemented communications plans reaching audiences in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

MARY O'HAGAN
Executive Producer
Mary is a creative powerhouse with 30 years of successful theatrical and conference production. Mary has produced events all over the world, including working at the United Nations headquarters and in Senegal for the Global Partnership for Education with President Macron and Rihanna, at the World Education Forum in Korea and Women Deliver in Vancouver. Mary is always finding more creative or interesting ways to do things. She is committed and meticulous in delivering the best result, on time and on budget. Making things look more expensive than they are is her goal and her motto is ‘nothing is too much trouble’. Mary is seen by her clients as their creative partner. She gets to know them and their businesses and helps them to develop, quite simply, the most effective methodology for getting the message across. Clients include: Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Partnership for Education, Credit Agricole, Gartner, Juniper Networks, Malaria No More, Project Everyone, Conde Nast International, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Quadient, Hitachi and Barceló hotels. Mary has worked in the Africa, South Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and the US.

JO AYRE
Marketing Associate
Jo is a marketing specialist with over 8 years of experience working with a wide variety of purpose-driven brands. Most recently she worked at Global Citizen as International Marketing Director on some of their biggest campaigns including Global Citizen Live, Global Citizen Prize, Stand Up for Ukraine and Global Citizen Festival. At the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), she led a digital and physical activation resulting in hundreds of thousands of climate actions taken by Global Citizens. She now works as a freelance consultant specialising in brands that are working towards a better future for people and planet, helping them take their digital marketing to the next level.
